How to Delete a Facebook Account for Someone Who Died

If you want to delete a facebook account for someone who dies You need to provide proof of your authority for closing a Facebook account. Provide a scan or photo of the death certificate with your request to close the account is the quickest method.

If you don't have death certificate, two types of documentation must be submitted with your request. To provide proof of authority, it can be  Power of attorney, Birth certificate, Last will and testament, or an estate letter. For proof of death, Facebook will accept an obituary or memorial card.

Delete a Facebook Account for Someone Who Died:

You can do that on Facebook's " Special Request for Medically Incapacitated or Deceased Person's Account " page. Here, you'll:

• Enter your full name.
• Provide a valid email address that can be used to contact you.
• Enter the full name on the person's account who passed away.
• Provide the link (URL) of the deceased person's profile.
• Provide the email address that was used to create the Facebook account of the deceased person.
• Request what it is you want, such as memorializing the account, deleting it because the owner is deceased, removing it because the owner is medically incapacitated, or any other special request.

N.B: If you are not legacy contact person then you can choice "Please remove this account because the account owner is medically incapacitated" Or "I have a special request" for deletaion request.

• You'll be asked to upload the required legal and medical documents. 
• After uploading Document Click  Send button to submit your request.
