How To Enable Hibernate Mode In Windows 10
Hibernate mode is a power management mode that powers down the computer while maintaining its previous state. In this mode, the current state of the system is saved to the hard drive before shutting the system down. When the user turns the system back on, the computer resumes its pre-hibernation state. Hibernate mode is similar to sleep mode however, in sleep mode the power cannot be shut off.
Enable Hibernate Mode in Windows 10:
- Open Control Panel (Press Win+R Then Type: Control).
- Select Large icons from the View by Category
- Click on Power Options
- On the left, click Choose what the power buttons do
- On the top of the next screen Click Change Settings that are currently unavailable link
- The Shutdown Settings will become editable. Check the option there called Hibernate (Show in Power menu
- Click on Save changes and that’s it.
