Steps To Move the Desktop Folder to Another Drive in Windows 10:
- Create a new folder named Desktop at the location (ex: "F:" ) where you want to move your personal Desktop folder.
- Open File Explorer (Windows key + E) and Click on This PC from the left pane.
- Right click the Desktop folder and select Properties.
- In Properties, go to the Location tab, and click on the Move button.
- Browse to and select the Desktop folder at the location (ex: "F:\Desktop" ) that you create earlier on E drive, and click on Select Folder.
- Click Apply.
- Click on Yes to move all the files from the old location to the new location.
- Your personal Desktop folder and all of its contents will now be moved to the new location (ex: "F:\Desktop" ).
