Method One: Using Facebook App on Smartphone

     1. Open Your Facebook App.

     2.  Tap on the icon ☰  in the top right corner of the screen (Android).

     3. Scroll down and choose Settings Under the Settings & Privacy menu.

     4. On the Settings page choose Privacy Settings Under the Privacy menu.

     5. From the bottom of the screen tap Who can send you friend requests?

     6.  Now choose Friends of friends.

Method Two: Using Browser on Computer

     1. Log on to Facebook.com, if you are not already logged in.

     2. Click on the down arrow in the upper-right corner of Facebook.

     3. Select Settings from the list of options.

     4. Click Privacy on the left side of the page.

     5. Click Edit to the right of  Who can send you friend requests?

     6. Click on Everyone and choose Friends of friends.
